Bereavement Booklet

We have produced an Easy Read Booklet to support people with learning disabilities at times of bereavement.

We are grateful to the ‘Sir Halley Stewart Trust’ for funding this much needed project.

Pray for Angus, Perth and Kinross areas (all week)

Give earnest thanks to God for answering the persistent prayers of All Friends Together group regarding new members joining them
Please pray for our policymakers – that they protect the needs of vulnerable people in all legislation

Pray for Edinburgh area (all week)

Pray for the love of Jesus to be clear to all at Central Edinburgh group as they meet to learn more about Him
Give thanks for technology that enables all our Zoom events to happen and for the joy and fellowship enjoyed by those who attend

Pray for Renfrew, Dumbarton and Lanarkshire areas (all week)

Pray for the JAM group that they continue to make good relationships in their community and encourage others to join them
Give thanks to God for the Aspire group and may they know that as we pray for them, that Jesus, our Saviour, prays for us all too and is always heard by Him
Pray that our new easy read bereavement booklet will support people at a difficult time

Pray for Scottish Borders and Dumfries and Galloway areas (all week)

Give thanks to the Lord for the fellowship at Precious Gems group on Zoom and continue to pray for more people to join them
Pray that Jesus leads us in new and exciting ways to reach out to adults with learning disabilities

Pray for Forth Valley area (all week)

Give thanks for the growth in numbers at Friends of Jesus group in Brightons and pray they all grow spiritually through learning about Jesus
Pray for the Lifeway group in Stirling as they faithfully continue to meet and reach out to the community around them

JAM group Prayer Feb 2025

The JAM group held a special prayer session. They have shared below what they prayed for and some pictures of their meeting.

“At our February meeting we thanked God that He listens to us when we talk to Him in prayer, and we said thankyou for things of all the colours of the rainbow.

With the help of a parachute we said thank you to God for friends and family, sunshine and music. We also saidsorry for any wrong things we have done.

We chose some things that sometimes worry us and asked God to give us peace any time we are anxious or upset.

We prayed for other Prospects groups like ours in Scotland, for example in Kilwinning and in Dingwall. Some of them came to worship with us when we did the Nativity Play in Inchinnan church.

We made a craft of the fingers of a hand to help us remember some things we can pray for. And then we had a snack and a chat.”

Pray for Praise Pals, Kilwinning that all transport needs would be met and carers would engage in transporting group members from Supported Living accommodation
Give thanks to God for the answered prayer to Shining Stars group’s new flyers inviting new people to join them – pray they settle well into the group
